This Coates PMC12 purple martin bird house will welcome these beautiful birds home year after year. Martins spend the winter months in South America, in the lowlands east of the Andes. They return to North America in the summer to breed. Their breeding area ranges from Alberta to New Brunswick, southward into central Texas and Florida. They can also be found in scattered locations near the Pacific Coast, and in areas of the deserts and mountains of the southwestern United States and Mexico. East of the Rocky Mountains purple martins rely solely on housing supplied by humans for breeding.

This purple martin bird house has twelve compartments. Stay cool design features include aluminum and stainless steel construction, light colors, a reflective roof and proper ventilation.
